Retrofitting for Cleaner & Cheaper fuel

The availability of commercial grade LPG has improved tremendously in India over past 5 years.  With continuous availability of LPG, industry is changing over to cleaner and cheaper LPG fuel from costly and polluting High Speed Diesel (HSD).  Industry is retrofitting and converting some of their HSD using equipment to LPG.  Some of the equipments which can be retrofitted are:

Savings and Payback Period

LPG is a cheaper fuel with high calorific value when compared with HSD.  The net savings after the retrofit of the equipment will be between 25% to 30% depending on the efficiency of the equipment.  The payback period of the investment will be between 1 to 2 years depending on the size of the original equipment and operational conditions.
